People keep saying this song was about cheating. I don't understand why. There's nothing to prove it to be so.

I love music because a song can be interpreted however the listener wants and no one is wrong. No one looks stupid for thinking the meaning is wrong because each meaning exists for the listener and their own experience of the music.
Probably some people can relate to that song better by thinking it's about cheating. Not me and even if it is about that, I still don't have to think it is.

I'd ask if they considered adoption and then most likely say yes. Only if artificial insemination.

So I've started on a long of entries meant for LJ. Ones talking about coming out to my mother and a fic (I'll probably post that in a comm for that pairing) and other gay stuff. It's all gay stuff. I just realized.
I really like not being closeted anymore, but I'm disappointed at how much my mom avoids saying I have a girlfriend. Well, at least she didn't throw me out of the house. I didn't think she would, you just get scared having such a big secret like that. Secret? Yeah.

So, I haven't been reading my flist lately. Somebody at a comm was an asshole and put cuts lined up which stretched the page. That's my nails on a chalkboard. For some reason, it just irritates me. I know everyone doesn't feel that way, so I don't always mention it. I should have stopped watching that comm for a few days. Oh well.

I love how loud Dresden Dolls songs get after being so quiet for a while. EXPLOSIVE!!

My mom and I recently went to the Chicago Botanic Garden. She wanted to find out what was going on with the tree in front of our house -- it'll probably die within a year -- and parking there costs money, so I came along and we had a good time.

We went on the cold but interesting and fun tram ride around the whole gardens. Then we had lunch (though it wasn't quite lunchtime) in their Café. Then we saw their greenhouses. Those are always neat because of the tropical plants I wouldn't otherwise see due to the climate here being . . . not tropical. (: So, then on our way out, someone asked if we wanted orchids -- can you believe that?! We assumed there must have been a flower show or contest of some kind. And we got orchids! Here's a picture:

In other news, I've been trying (kind of) to be more productive and useful, just in general. I don't know if posting on LJ is helping that. . . .

Monogamy pwns. I have no idea who'd be more likely to cheat. It depends on the individual.

Oh. Upon choosing my mood, I remembered that I want to finish uploading that new mood theme lookslikerain made. I like it a little better than my current one and . . . oh, I think I forgot to comment her. I'll remember later. I'm only doing nothing now, but I'll still put it off. I'm a hardcore procrastinator.

I feel like writing an LJ post and one of the things I like about LJ is interests. I have 56 of them.

I haven't used footnotes pretty much ever. Do they go on the outside of punctuation? I just don't know.

I'm omitting the boring ones. Like animals. And music and sleeping.

So, "animals in the shower." Sometimes I add ones that only one other user has. So that we have something in common. Sometimes I don't even know the user. "bunnies." I have 2 of them. I had another. I know about them because I read books and I can usually answer questions people have about them. "dictionaries." I think my favorite kind of books are dictionaries, seriously. I learned how to spell when I was 13 because I had dictionaries and I . . . I think I'm going on too much. They mean a lot to me. <3
"domesticating sasquach." Another user had it . . . "imagine me & you" I do. I think about you day and night. I saw a lot of Tegan & Sara fans with that. I know that phrase from that song by the Turtles, "Happy Together" and I'm too lazy to see if Tegan & Sara remade that. I could ask Tara tomorrow. Or she could tell me here. Tomorrow. Flist, baby. "lost dog posters." They're cool. And only another user used it. For the sake of being interesting. Hey, I think that's the verb of adding interests. Anyway.
"minesweeper." Yeah, more of an addiction. "ribbons." I love rolling ribbons up and when I put ribbons in my hair, other people seem to like it. Hmm, I thought idrnkyrmlkshk had"rock and trippy shit" but her friend who I don't know well does. Oh, and Rorschach = Walter Kovacs = "sandwich board man." From watchmen_lulz' interests.

So, I hope you got some enjoyment out of this. I'm learning how to blog. Slowly. Does that make me sound old?

I'm just trying to figure out my life and balancing what I want to do and what I need to do during the day.
I haven't been making many graphics at all, but I made over 10 textures a few days ago. So I'll post those whenever I get around to it. Sooner if I get encouragement.

Maybe I'll start using this primarilly as a blog and for graphics just occasionally. I like when bands blog and I want to be in a band, so I should learn to blog about my life. I wonder if I'll want to delete these accounts I have now if I get sorta well-known. I don't even know if that'd be a bad thing. Hmm.
I know it sounds rather conceited to talk about having success, but . . . I don't know, isn't it better than putting myself down? Sometimes there's no middle ground with me.

I have a Dreamwidth account. I'm posting creative writing there. Really only prose. Not stories either. I don't like to catagorize it.
I don't go on there often. I would if I had more friends there. Wanna join, anyone? I have an invite code or two. It's like LJ but no ads and less populated and a bit exclusive.

Now I'm listening to music just so my Last.FM account can fill it into the music field of this entry automatically.
